Cash

While there are cash machines on campus and not far away down on Division Street, do you really think they are going to restock these machines over the weekend?

And, if you're coming from out of state, what makes you think the cash machine in Northfield has ever heard of your card's bank? And what makes you think that the ReubNStein is going to take a check drawn on a bank in Billings, Montana? Still writing paper checks? OK, boomer!

Traveler's checks are a good bet for dining out or shopping money.  Walking around money is probably best in currency. Quarters will be valuable to have on hand.  If nothing else, just to solve old bets with a flip.

With a reunion weekend, it's always handy to have at least a small amount of cash on hand in case you decide to get cafeteria food at the last minute or raid the 'chines at midnight.
